In a unexpected collaboration that challenges traditional forecasts, the game developer has unveiled an virtual partnership between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the popular anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising Thanksgiving event continues from November 25 through December 22, offering no-cost bonus story content for Shadows players.

Peculiar Mission Disclosed

According to the formal release, "A mysterious confrontation pulls characters Naoe and Yasuke into a new quest, where hints of banned practices and fearsome metamorphoses resonate through the darkness." The plot presents a "unusually dressed woman named Ada" who charges the duo with venturing into the Crystalline Cavern—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to save her ally from a secret sect.

The questline concentrates on "peculiar trials and a monstrous foe" and is accessible to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.

Iconic Locations and Transformations

The teaser showcases the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This important location was formerly where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through generations. The preview concludes with a dramatic scene showing a character, likely the prisoner, transforming into a Titan that looms over Naoe and Yasuke.

Special Items and Extra Features

Players who finish the adventure will acquire an exclusive katana in addition to multiple items concealed throughout the area in hidden chests. The update also features purchasable Attack on Titan item packs, featuring:
